the music and creative arts ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ
Creating the best movement-building resources for Campus Crusade ministries
Keynote 40th Anniversary video:
Keynote’s roots go back to the start of Campus Crusade’s Music Ministry in 1966, when Bill Bright recruited an entire band to use their gifts to reach college students. Since then the Music Ministry has taken many different forms that have reached hundreds of thousands of people from all walks of life from across the globe with the good news of Christ. Using relevant music to authentically reach their target audiences, Keynote bands and artists reach out to students and adults at colleges, high schools, military bases and into communities. They also serve as worship leaders at conferences and other events aimed at building believers.
One of the unique strengths of Keynote is their role as a servant ministry to other Campus Crusade for Christ ministries. Because they partner with these ministries, there is an immediate network of staff and volunteers to follow-up with all those who make decisions to receive Christ or who want to pursue their spiritual growth! Campus Crusade is one of the largest missions organizations in the world with over 70 different types of ministries in over 197 countries with 27,000 full-time staff.
Keynote is made up of over 100 full-time staff , interns (staff making a one-year commitment) and summer project students. Keynote staff also help to train and be a resource to other Crusade music ministries in several other countries around the world.
